Typically within an hour of signing up, you will receive an invite to your own private task board on Trello. You can then begin adding tasks immediately. Communication stays asynchronous through the task board so there's no wasted time in meetings. You can also add comments and feedback on tasks as they are being worked on. If you have any questions or need help getting started, you can reach out via email at hello@fromthecoast.io.
You should expect to receive updates and/or deliverables within 2-3 days for most requests. For small requests, this could be a complete task. For larger requests, this could be a partial deliverable or an update on the progress.
We support a wide range of web development and web development-related requests, including bug fixes, new features, API integrations, UI/UX improvements, performance optimizations, and more. We can work with various technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, and more. If you're unsure whether your request is supported, feel free to reach out to us.
FromTheCoast does not support requests in languages and technologies that are not listed on our website, such as PHP, Ruby, or Java. We also do not support desktop applications, native mobile applications, games, or other non-web application development.
Most likely! As long as the project is built with technologies that FromTheCoast supports, we can continue the development. If you have an existing project and are unsure whether we can help, please reach out to us.
That's okay! FromTheCoast can work alongside your existing team to provide additional support and expertise. Whether you need help with specific tasks or want to offload some of the work, we're here to help.
You may submit a large request and it will be broken down on FromTheCoast's end into smaller tasks. You can expect to receive reasonable updates (and deliverables if possible) every 2-3 days.
Not a problem! If you are unhappy with the result for any reason, we will continue working on it until you are completely satisfied.
Not a problem! You may pause your subscription at any time and return when you have additional development requirements. When you choose to pause, you won't lose your remaining days.
At any point you may pause or cancel your subscription. Your remaining days are based on your renewal date, so if you normally renew on the 15th of each month and you pause on the 10th, you will have 5 days remaining when you resume.
Currently, all development work is done by Chris, the founder of FromTheCoast. Chris has spent more than a decade building software for companies and clients across a variety of industries.
We do not provide hosting, but we can certainly help you set up hosting on a service like Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or another provider. These services are typically pay-as-you-go, so they scale with your needs.
For the first week, we offer a 100% refund if you are unhappy with the service. After that, we do not offer refunds, but you can pause or cancel your subscription at any time.
